Here’s the fifth episode of this season’s Couples Therapy, available to stream for those that missed last Wednesday’s episode. I’m thrilled to say that this was our highest rated episode of the season (and the series) and that in the same time slot we’re beating our old network, Bravo by over 52% in the 18-49 year old demographic; the one that advertisers are most interested in. And for those that wonder why I care about ratings, well, there’s not much point in doing TV if no one watches!

Episode 4 and Episode 5, both caused a bit of friction in our house, and I’ll let my blog as well as Alex’s on this episode explain. If you’ve not yet seen Episode 5 watch it below and then read our blogs.

This is an extract from my blog for Episode 5. After each episode of Couples Therapy Alex & I are taking it in turns to blog on VH1’s website and my fourth episode blog that was posted there was a straw for Alex; not a straw man but rather one that broke a back. My blog, the bonus clip for Episode 4, as well as the Group Therapy power discussion in last night’s episode combined with my actions & words this week, have all ticked her off. She says on her blog for this week’s episode “I’ve (she’s) been angry this week, but not at the producers or the network. They didn’t twist it; everything we saw this week was accurate.” The rest of my blog for this episode can be read here

If you’ve not seen prior episodes you can stream on or all of them here

  1. Geri says:

The following quotes are attributed to you:

From NYer magazine 2008 : Why wouldn’t we do the show again?” asks Simon. “I mean, it’s a total success.

From 2011: Q: Did Andy Cohen or anyone at Bravo offer any info into why you weren’t asked to return?

A: We’ve certainly met with Andy after we were “fired.” The door isn’t closed there, either from them or from us. We’re not going away

Yet, in post after post, you go out of your way to speak ill of RHoNY/Bravo. Do you see where the average person would get confused? I think you would be better served by being honest.

Also, you stated somewhere that you were “set up to be the prentenious ones”. Have you ever stopped to think that there might be some truth in that? Like most steretypes, there is usually a thread of truth there.
