Noon By Noor F/W 2013 Collection

It was Friday at noon, and Snowstorm Nemo was already making its presence known, but that didn’t stop people from coming out to see the Noon by Noor show at the Lincoln Center Studio. The Bahrain-based design team of Noor Al Khalifa and Haya Al Khalifa created a whimsical yet sophisticated collection featuring opulent jewel tones with just a slight touch of the gothic. In short…I loved it.

Noon by Noor F/W 2013 - Look 6

Look 6, on model Mia, includes burgundy wool wide leg pants, poppy silk blouse with bow, a blue angora wool full length coat and navy alpaca beanie.

Noon by Noor F/W 2013 - Look 22

Another gorgeous full length coat in red angora on model Basha, over a red wool and silk shirt with bee embroidery, black checked blazer and straight leg trousers.

Toward the end of the show, Storm Nemo apparently decided he wasn’t getting enough attention and decided to start leaking through the roof, with a drop or two falling on the runway and one model’s head. True professionals, they kept walking, and no one slipped. I’d say it was the confidence inspired by knowing you look absolutely amazing….

    Dear Mrs Mccord,
The Real Housewives Of New York City(s1-5) was just replayed on swedish television, and I just wanted to express my admiration even though You are no longer a part of the show. I my opinion You were by far the nicest of all the ladies, and also( if I may say) the best dressed!
    Thanks for sharing.

    Best wishes

    Hey Alex-

Miss you on RHONY. You were different from the other women, but I enjoyed watching you and Simon- the show was the most entertaining when you two were on the show. I thought you were more real than the others (but for Bethenney)- and smart as well — KKB being the lowest on the IQ scale. Wish you could have figured out how not to be bullied by the others in S4- especially Luanne bitch face- condecending wench. She was clearly put into place by Carol Radzawil- and I loved watching it!!!!

    All the best
