RHONY 403 – What We Wore

This episode begins with a lunch between Sonja and me, where I went a bit vintage — my sweater/skirt set and knee high boots were from the Plein Sud Avenue Montaigne store and are about 9 years old.  The necklace is by LeAnita Ragland Brooks, the sister of a friend of ours.

Next, we see five minutes of my day-long birthday party — unfortunately it’s the few minutes where everyone froze at the very end and snarky housewives arrived.  Allow me to show you a photo of  our arrival at Governor’s Island.  Simon is in a mixture of John Varvatos and Ralph Lauren with Vintage Revolution jeans.  I’m in a coat by Tulle, Jimmy Crystal sunglasses, Ferragamo bag and boots that LuAnn doesn’t like.

Next up, an interview where I wore White House Black Market and earrings by Ray Griffiths.

Moving right along, we see a David Meister fashion show for the Dawson Scleroderma Foundation — Simon wore Malan Breton and I paired a Blanc de Chine accordion top with Loris Diran tuxedo trousers.  My red and blue clutch is by La Lucca.

In the next talking head interview, I wore a dress by Donna Ricco.

Here’s the finished product from the photo shoot…

And finally, here I am in a blue Walter dress, silver pashmina and some of Ramona’s True Faith jewelry.

Those pics of Alex modelling are stunning!!! Most beautiful shots of anyone I’ve seen in a very long time. Alex you must be so pleased!!

  2. alana /

wow the modeling pics are amazing, I just love them, I hope to see more of these kinds of photos and in these kinds of dresses, alex you look like a creature from out of someone’s fantasy, another space and time.

when you were on the island for your birthday you reminded me of grace kelly, when you are dressed down you have the same simple elegance and classic style, and yet at the same time you can carry the avant garde look just as well, or go as far as looking bondage-esque. that is *really* the definition of what makes a good model, is that you can be anyone, and be believable. I am so happy to see you turning out these amazing shots and looking so good and having a good time.

the other women are so jealous they just can’t stand themselves. luann especially I am sure. keep being you.

p.s. I would love to know about the boots luann doesn’t like, her taste (particularly in jewelry) is so hideous if she doesn’t like something it’s a sure sign it’s something beautiful or elegant.

  3. Michelle Butler /

OMG!!! Those modeling pics are soooooooo gorgeous!!! I love this style of modeling anyday compared to the garbage that Kelly does. I am only being honest!! I just find that you have endless class and presence!

  4. The stills are amazing and I love that Simon was wearing Malan, I picked that out immediately :)

  5. Alley /

I must say I am a bit suprised after seeing the hairstyle on t.v., but WOW!!! They knew what they were doing, beautiful!

  6. Web based optical brochures nowadays exhibit newer versions like
the Folding Wayfarer, which is ideal for folks on-the-go,
or the New Wayfarer that features reduced and more rectangular frames
to match smaller face structures. Prescription lenses
can be put into the frame if required, therefore increasing its functionality.
Proof isn’t happy to end things on sunglasses success though,
they feature many prescription ready models that you’d take to your local Optometrist to
get filled with the lenses of your choice.
